(I can't describe the angst I experienced when I saw You, the One and only One, as Two!)
Ever since I wrote the previous blog about orkut, a lot of people had the same experience as described by "Melpathur". They searched for my profile and found that there are multiple profiles in my same name & email . ( Yeah I know , this is narcissism at its peak.). Don't blame me . Orkut had a bug !!
I can hear a lot people telling me " Orkut / Google cannot make a mistake ". I too want to belive that but the reality is different. I've proof .. check it out here. Now , why is it that I'm pissed off with Orkut aka Google ? Its because , I had always placed Google next to God . Good old days ( and even now ) by Boss tells only one thing before he gives me a task / work. "May God & Google be with you ". :) For seven years the prayer had always remain the same . I guess , 50% of whatever success I have got is because of Google and the rest half is the handy work of God.
Few years back, I slept off half way through a server restoration. My client was pissed off and said , "Sojish , you shouldn't sleep when your building is on fire " . That was the only day, when God & Google left me to be on my own ( and I screwed it up royally ). But for that single occassion, both of them or atleast one of them had always been there with me.
And then Google started making errors. Thats not permitted. I mean, how can someone with Godly power make mistakes.
( Totally pissed off with Google, Sojish goes out to Lux Coffeebar. After having a nice iced latte .. he cools down a bit ) well... google can make mistakes too. whats the big deal in it ? Google can make mistakes once in a while. For that matter , even God can make mistakes. Infact, He had made mistakes in the past. How else can I explain Mr (Name removed to safe gaurd my self-esteem) 's existance ? :) |
