Trip to Anaerangal Mala on Dec 1st and 2nd .

Anaerangal Camp is set atop a rocky outcrop, at Suryanelli, about 28 kms from Munnar, overlooking a high altitude montane forest & the spectacular Anaerangal Lake
* MAX allowed participants : 20
* Price per head : Rs 1500 /- includes food , stay and transportation. ( If you have not yet made the payment , be assured that your seat is not confirmed. )
Day 1: - Departure from Ekm at 6 am .
- Reach Suryanelli by 11 am.
- Pick up from Suryanelli on Jeeps. Transfer to Upper Camp.
- Start trek by 2.30.
- Trek to Phantom Head. ( 6100Ft) - Medium Difficulty
Highlights: Panoramic view of the Anaerangal lake and the Western Ghats. Ideal Place to see Sunset.
Day 2:
- Trek to Anaerangal Lake. Easy .
- Packed lunch at the lake.
Highlights: Route passes through pine forest, grass land and the lake.
- Trek down to Suryanelli. Depart
Details about Stay:
You will be staying in tents. You will provided with sleeping bags & ground sheets in the tents.At night it is going to be real cold.
Please dont venture out of sight of the camp, unaccompanied. Again, Camera is not a living object and will not be considered as a companion. Things to Carry:
Please carry - Woolen clothes unless you want to freeze to death.
- Some raingear (weather is unpredictable this side),
- A cap / head cover .
- Trekking/sports shoes to make it difficult for leeches.
- A backpack which is weatherproof
- Torch to see who else is inside your tent.
- Sunscreen lotion for beauty conscious
- One additional pair of dress that doesn't smell bad.
Please dont carry a lot of plastic covers or materials that you'll have to litter. Chances are that we would go back to the same place again . So NO littering is permitted.
