Things they don’t tell you about life at Sainik School, Kazhakootam
Kazhaks90 is the batch which was in 12th standard , when I joined the school . I’ve only looked at them with fear and respect . Its good to know that the feelings and emotions had always been the same for every sai-kazhak .

Let it go…
Aji Kumar M P , better known in abbr as ‘Kambi’ walked into the ring amidst thunderous applause and loud cheers from all of us. He is representing our house, Rajaji in the finals of boxing match. This is the last match of the year and a lot is at stake. If Kambi wins, we’ll win the boxing trophy , which will give us the over-all sports trophy , which in turn will give us the Over-all Best house trophy. As you can see , a lot is at stakes here and its all on the Kambi’s shoulders .
His opponent is Kelwin Kuriachan from Ashoka house. Kelwin is my class mate and a friend, but when it comes to house matches personal friendships takes back stage. Kelwin is now the biggest enemy not just for me , but for our entire house. The lone soldier who is standing on our path to victory. The final hurdle which we’ve to crush.

Inspirational Dress
Well , wife going for shopping is not something unheard of . My wifi loves shopping for dresses and I too enjoy her shopping as long as I don’t have to accompany her. I love seeing the smile on her face after she comes back from a successful shopping ( For those unlucky bachelors out there, successful shopping means when she gets to buy the exact dress she had in mind within the imaginary budget she had in mind ) . Like all caring husbands out there in the world, I join her happiness and put a big smile on face and says … “woow , thats a cool dress.”

Gods don’t explain
I was feeling rotten that evening. First a customer I was handling shouted. Then a team lead who reports to me shouted. Reached back home late and wifi had a frown on the face. Honestly my intentions had always been to help all these people. But I end up in the wrong side at the end of the day. I tried to explain how I was trying to help each of these people out. But nobody listens. Everyone has their own reasoning to believe how I wronged them. It was a tiring exercise and I went out of breath.

Blogger’s block
” Whats your hobby ? ” , asked my friend over dinner table.
That is my favourite question during interviews , especially when I’m the one asking. I guess, when you are a fresher out of college , you would have practised answering the question infront of mirror atleast 50 times. ”Watching TV & Listening to music & playing cricket” . Then there are those wanna-be smart guys who comes out with ’travelling’ & ‘reading’ . I guess , I belonged to the latter class , who wanted to impress the interviewers with a I-am-a-geeky-one attitude . Never-the-less , I always had answers when someone threw in that question .
